Educational Qualifications

Candidate must have passed Matriculation Examination from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India.

  • Chef : They will assign the task of preparing /cooking food As per Menu (they have to cook both Vegetarian & Non-Vegetarian).
  • Steward : They have to perform the duties of Serving Food in the Officer Mess as Waiters/Housekeeping/Accounting of Funds/Wine /Stores Preparation of Menu Etc.
  • Hygienist : They have to make sure that Maintenance of Hygiene in Wash Room & other Areas are up to the mark. More details check official Notification.

Indian Navy MR 2020 Batch Pay Scale

training period – Rs. 14,600/-per month. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (₹ 21,700- ₹69,100). In addition, they will be paid MSP @ ₹ 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable).

  • Gen/OBC : Rs. 215/-
  • SC/ST : Exempted
  • Payment will be made through net banking/ Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.

Indian Navy MR 2020 Batch Selection process

  • State wise merit of their performance in Computer-based Exam.
  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
  • Medical Exam

Computer based Examination : The question paper will be computer-based with a total of 50 questions, each carrying 01 mark.The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) & objective type. The question paper will comprise of two sections i.e. Science & Mathematics and General Knowledge (standard class 10th syllabus ). Exam Time 30 minutes. The candidates are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate. Penalty for Wrong Answer : For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
